Slewing Mobile Crane

TLILIC0010 - Licence to operate a slewing mobile crane (up to 20 tonnes)

The Slewing Mobile Crane Training Course (up to 20 tonnes) is designed to provide participants with the ability to operate a Slewing Mobile Crane (up to 20 tonnes) safely and equip them with the knowledge and confidence to obtain a National High Risk Work Licence Class C2.

By attending this course participants will learn the principles of operating a Slewing Mobile Crane (up to 20 tonnes) , and identify potential hazardous situations.

This course includes:

  • Plan work/task

  • Prepare for work/task

  • Perform work/task

  • Pack up

A person undertaking this unit must hold:

  • a current National HRWL to perform dogging or a current certification for a specific VET course for HRWL to perform dogging that has been issued by, or on behalf of a WHS Regulator

Course prerequisites

  • Ability to speak and understand English

  • Participants must be over 18 years of age

Course outcomes

  • National High Risk Work Licence Class (C2)

  • Statement of Attainment – TLILIC0010

The Slewing Mobile Crane Training Course (up to 60 tonnes) is designed to provide participants with the ability to operate a Slewing Mobile Crane (up to 60 tonnes) safely and equip them with the knowledge and confidence to obtain a National High Risk Work Licence Class C6.

By attending this course participants will learn the principles of operating a Slewing Mobile Crane (up to 60 tonnes) , and identify potential hazardous situations.

This course includes:

  • Prepare for work/task

  • Perform work/task

  • Pack up

TLILIC0008 – Licence to operate a non-slewing mobile crane (greater than 3 tonnes capacity)

The Non-Slewing Mobile Crane Training Course (greater than 3 tonnes capacity) is designed to provide participants with the ability to operate a Non-Slewing Mobile Crane (greater than 3 tonnes capacity) safely and equip them with the knowledge and confidence to obtain a National High Risk Work Licence Class CN.

By attending this course participants will learn the principles of operating a Non-Slewing Mobile Crane (greater than 3 tonnes capacity) , and identify potential hazardous situations.

This course includes:
